Description

lz4-java (​https://github.com/jpountz/lz4-java) provides pure Java support for LZ4 (​http://fastcompression.blogspot.com/2011/05/lz4-explained.html) data.

We don't have an immediate need for this, but at some point in the future it might be nice to have a service that calls lz4-java.
