The generic template for the layout of the data manager for the OMERO clients.
UPDATE: The generic template has come from the a review discussion of the document so far.
I now require a short confirmation discussion over the insight interface so the template can be confirmed.
MEETING OUTCOME: The layout template needs to take into consideration and be aware of the actions between the panels in aligning
consistency. This will have some bearing on the generic layout, and so will be updated with Ola, action is pending.
UPDATE 24 Feb: Following the meeting today between (Will, Ola, Scott) the further work for the next 2 sprints has been identified and shall be documented in strategic requirement (#4517).
The ongoing work for the generic template is reliant on the completion of the information being documented in #4481.
UPDATED: The template has been updated with the consistency of actions required between the left and central panel in the data manager.
UPDATE: The updated generic layout has documented the following changes:
- #4869 The removal of the basket label and the use of the basket icon.
- #4870 The removal of the status label and replaced with the label activities.
- #4870 The use of a activities icon for use in insight and web.
- #4986 The centralisation of the group selection and user selection drop down boxes.
- The addition of a action bar over the right panel. The intention is that the bar shall be used for future icons/functionality related to the context of the right panel.
- #4871 The addition of the image viewer icon to the the new action bar over the right panel.
