Description (last modified by saloynton)
In the Preview Pane" on the far right panel of the data manager the option of thumbnail view to see who has viewed the image does not show your own view/settings.
It was seen in testing that it might be useful to have the ability to move through all of the alternative views of the image that have viewed the image, but also provide the scientist with access to their view of the image more readily when looking at the rendering settings.
Some further background to this way of working is demonstrated in the photography software with their image image compare.
i.e. several screenshots on working with set compare http://aperture.maccreate.com/2010/03/20/using-set-compare-in-aperture-3-and-customizing-toolbar/. The idea was not to replicate this but to clarify the suggestion.

I was thinking that if you want to match/adjust your own view based on how others have viewed your image in having your own view it would be used as the place to make these adjustments. Currently, if I am making adjustments to the image then I look at the alternative views of the images, I lose my changes.
Is this a valid scenario?

you don't lose the changes that are saved
it is another set of settings so you will locally overwrite yours. Yes
