Caching javascripts in $.getScript()

Description
Be default, $.getScript() sets the cache setting to false. This appends a timestamped query parameter to the request URL to ensure that the browser downloads the script each time it is requested.
Currently we cant override this feature by setting the cache property globally using $.ajaxSettings because in omero_image.html we have this set to false to support thumbnail updates.
$(document).ready(function () {
$.ajaxSettings.cache = false;
});
Perhaps we want some places to set caching to true like:
http://localhost:8080/static/3rdparty/jquery.blockUI.js?_=1330524852638
