Bug: Insight UI freezes if viewing a dataset which is currently being used for import

Description
If I'm importing images into a dataset, and try to view the dataset in the viewer while the import is taking place, the UI completely freezes. It looks like it's blocked waiting for the thumbnails. It would be nicer if it just displayed the thumbnails which were available, and ignored the images which were not yet fully imported. As it stands, it's displaying the image which is currently partially imported--why isn't this only linked into the dataset once it's completely imported?

You may also have a look at Agilo extensions to the ticket.
unfortunately I do not known if the image is partially imported or not when passing the dataset id to the server. The thumbnail service will have to be reviewed.
