I would like to demonstrate improvement we have made in OMERO 4.3.2 to the way we browse and render images in webclient. Select an image and go to the preview tab. I can use a preview tab to view the image. I can also scroll through different Z sections or Time and play if this is the movie. I can always go to the full image viewer there I can make more adjustment in rendering panel. I can choose between various options. Standard, Maximum intensity projection and Split Channel. In the Rendering setting section I can turn on and off channels, change to grey scale or invert Axis. In edit panel I can do my usual rendering settings adjustment, adjust level of different channels and then apply them. colour pick. I can use min/max option to set sliders to the darkest and brightest pixels for each channel By clicking reset I can always return to the default settings, defined when I was importing the image. When I decide to permanently apply settings I can do it by clicking save button. New setting will be saved to the server what allows me to view the image in Insight in exactly the same way. Below I also have basic image metadata and link to this image http://host:port/webclient/img_detail/99999/?c=1|103:218$00FF00,-2|89:151$FF0000&m=c&p=normal&ia=0&q=0.9&zm=100&t=25&z=1&x=0&y=0 In the collaborative mode this link can be send to other members of the group where people can get direct access to the viewed image. Webclient viewer also supports large images which gives you the ability to zoom in and out and pan around your image. Here is an example of the big image I've had imported before. This allows me to view fairly large image in the rapid way. By using thumbnail preview I can see where I am currently in. All the regular processes, like zooming, adjusting rendering settings I was presenting before are also supported in the big image preview.
