Description (last modified by jburel)
If an object matching the data type is selected, its Id is displayed in the id field.
In the customized UI, the name of the object is used to name the figure. We should follow the same strategy in the generated UI instead of using the name of the script.

I think we should auto-populate the name field for the generic view with the name of the object when possible (extension removed)
e.g. my image is call good.dv. I select a figure script, the name field should display good instead of movie_figure
This will only be valid if one object is selected

Not sure I understand this. You want the script-generated UI for a figure script to have the name of the output figure auto-populated?
We don't actually support the script-generated UI for figure scripts (they should be turned off so they don't appear in the scripts menu - Except for ROI_Movie_Figure (no custom UI).
Also, we'd have to make it a common standard that the clients should auto-populate a "Figure_Name" parameter with the name of the currently selected object, but I don't think this parameter is generic-enough (not like Data_Type and IDs) to be included in the list of recognised parameters.
