BUG: Image wrongly displayed on develop

Description (last modified by pwalczysko)
Imported data_repo/test_images_metada/leica-lif/Rosier.lif, both to Howe using dev_4_4 build of Insight, then on Gretzky using develop build of Insight.
The Rosier.lif consists of 3 images, one with 1 z/t plane, one with multiple z, one with multiple t.
On Howe:
All 3 images are displayed normally.
On Gretzky:
The multiple-t image does display just a black frame. Could not find out whether this is because of the rendering settings, as the Preview panel does not work at the moment either (reported in another ticket).
On Gretzky:
The multiple-z image displays with some mistakes, strange stripes appearing on pixel-level, also the shapes are not recognizable as compared to the howe-imported one. The grey and blue channel seem to be somehow swapped/mixed on develop (the nuclei appear clearly in grey, unlike on the howe one, where only whole cells/contours are apparent in grey, as it is natural.)

Petr, I've attached a screenshot of a Rosier.lif import using just the FS refactoring branch (not the merged build on gretzky). We'll need to pin down which of the branches is breaking this, but after this (admittedly simple test) I'd say it's not necessarily FS-based.

Tested:
Insight
Once more user-6 on gretzky, todays build from Develop: as reported above, the image with multiple-z is stripy and the channels are muddled (the grey channel actually does not exist like this - the images in the stack seem confounded. The multiple-t stack appears completely black.
Web:
The images from Gretzky viewed using Web client. The multiple z-stack has identical problems/appearance as in Insigh (stripes, muddled channels, nonsensical order of planes in the stack - see screenshot). The multiple-t stack is nevertheless okay (probably a rendering problem in Insight only).
Fiji:
Freshly downloaded Fiji. Opened Rosier.lif using LOCI plugin. The results are okay - no problems in any of the 3 images/stacks (see screenshot).

Another image which has similar problems is 2kx2k.jpeg from test_images_good/jpeg. The image displays as noise-like stripes only.
This is the same for both Insight and Web. See screenshots.
This problem is gone when 2kx2k is re-imported. (unlike the Rosier.lif problem - Rosier.lif persists in being shown wrongly even when re-imported several times.
@jmoore, @jburel, @mlinkert-x
have downloaded the Insight build from Develop from 7th January and Rosier.lif is shown okay there. The branch making problems must have been merged on 8th January I guess then.

Today with the build OMERO.insight-4.4.4-772-1108a15-dirty-ice33-b112-mac. The imported Rosier.lif look fine. So does the 2kx2k.jpeg although the thumbnail is black.

- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
Re-tested today with OMERO.insight-4.4.4-1029-c710e95-dirty-ice33-b130-mac. Imported and checked the images on Gretzky, user-3, group read-only-1, project "test of rosier".. Works fine. Closing the ticket.
Local import of Rosier.lif using only fs branch
