While comparing both OMERO.Insight and Web.Client I realized that Tags do not appear to be synchronized between Insight and Web.Client.

Quite a lot of my tags that I have put in Insight do not appear in the Tags tab in the Web.Client even do they will be displayed in each individual image.
Would be great to have full compatibility in the tags list.

Investigating.

Could not replicate but found a few possible issues.

Closing ticket for present - will reopen if investigation resumes.

Dear Helio

I have been investigating the tags issue you reported with colleagues.

We noticed was that your OMERO.Insight client is not the same version (4.4.4) as your server (4.4.5) so although this is not likely to be the cause of any problems, it would be advisable to keep the versions in sync.

We have been unable to replicate any problems with the tags list.

However there is a difference between the tag lists in the two clients in that OMERO.Insight allows you to see tags belonging to other users that you have mused in a separate container called "Tags used not owned", which OMERO.Web does not. This is illustrated in the first screenshot I have attached to the email.

Another possible cause of "lost" tags is that tags that are part of a tag set are visible only when the tag set is expanded, so can sometimes be overlooked, as illustrated in the second screenshot I have attached to the email.

If either of these do not explain your issue, we would be grateful if you could send us some screenshots that illustrate the discrepancies so we can look at the matter further.

I'm assuming this issue is that the tags created at Import in Insight are not showing up in web. See #10393. Closing this ticket as duplicate.
