Bug: Importer doesn't close file handles after importing

Description
Just tried to import around 20,000 small (28 px by 28 px) pngs. The OS started giving too many files open errors. The output of lsof suggests the importer had over 9000 files still open, which weren't freed until Insight was shut down.

Are these PNG files available somewhere for testing?

Import the directories 0-9, keep an eye on lsof |grep train-png
