Description (last modified by bpindelski)
This story points to other stories within #9818 as well as otherwise unconnected tasks which will need to be completed for the FS demo at the end of February. The plan is that the build for this demo should be completed and tagged (provisionally to be named 5.0.0-alpha1) before the demo itself.
Stories / Main goals
- #2307 - standardize on unix paths (in progress from demo1)
- #9821 - sensible path names: requires cleaning up after demo1
- #10207 - Big tile visualization
- #10335 - FS checksums for data integrity
- Performance
- #10178 - FS/Web stateful service interaction
- User-perception of import speed
- Files should be uploaded from one (priority) thread while the actual imports are started separately.
- Cancellation should be possible
- Reduce number of calls to setId and min/max

Closing past demo. Note: demo 4 is making use of sprints rather than holder stories (like this one).

This was all done some time ago. Closing story with a few remaining tickets, and moving them so as to be findable in a reasonable amount of time
