Bug: strange "you can only select" message on shift-select, with wrongly failing selection action

Description

On Insight Webstart on Firefox under Windows 7, if I try to shift-select a few orphaned images I first get a dialog saying "You can only select", without finishing the sentence. If I dismiss it and try the selection again then it works.

Sorry, that screenshot was from attachments, hence perhaps the incomplete sentence in the dialog, but I can also get the dialog with datasets and other things. For instance,

  1. make sure dataset node is closed
  2. click + to expand it
  3. click one of the images
  4. shift-click another image
  5. get a dialog
  6. shift-click the other image again
  7. see that it worked second time

Not really a blocker. Seems to be related to the selection issue fixes that you put on hold.

The problem seems to be fixed. This was probably related to a selection issue sorted in 4.4.9
