https://github.com/openmicroscopy/ome-documentation/pull/241 includes some comments on the ICE on Windows text. They should be reviewed and, perhaps, acted upon.

If https://github.com/openmicroscopy/openmicroscopy/pull/2174 gets merged, the mentioned paragraph can be removed - and so we'll avoid any vagueness. This ticket then will be closed.
