Description
If I am dragging a big image, the web client works just like Google Maps in moving it around. With a not-big image that is zoomed in (so, really, it is big in the UI), dragging fails after the mouse pointer has strayed off the image itself, which is a bit disappointing. It would be nicer if zoomed-in not-big images got the same UI treatment that big images do, once they're much larger than what can be seen at once.

Ha, I was wrong, Insight is the one that drags like Google Maps only with big images, the web client is more consistent and even big images stop dragging once the mouse pointer has left the image (which is the disappointing part).

- Summary changed from Dragging of not-big images fails after the mouse pointer leaves the image to Dragging of images in web fails after the mouse pointer leaves the image
(at least, as witnessed from 10.8 Safari)
