BUG: Delete of multi image files is slow

Description

Gretzky, user-6, group read-annotate-1.
Imported test images good/lei/050118.lei

Import went fine. Viewing went fine.
Chose all 56 images.
Pressed Delete.
Immediately, started new delete, choosing just one image of the 56.

The delete takes more than 10 mins, but ultimately is successful.
