Hi there,
I first would like to thank all the community for the incredible done
job! We really do appreciate not to bother anymore with proprietary file
formats!
However, I would like to point what I believe is a bug for Carl Zeiss
.czi files. Most of them open properly, however, when doing linescan
imaging versus time, upon opening of the image I can't find all the
information.
Basically, what I do expect is a line image hyperstack with a my 10000
timepoints as a slider. There is probably some issue under this bug, as
if one opens the image with Carl Zeiss Zen black, it opens as a XT image
(ie. an array of n pixels of the line x 10000 lines), while Zen blue
opens it as one would expect (a single line with timepoints in a slider).
I am using Bio-format 4.4.4 version, same is true with the daily build.
I am having update 17 of java 7. I am using windows seven.
I get no error message, however, I get a single line with no timepoints
whatsoever (neither in a XT image nor in a time hyperstack line image)
see clipboard image. I attached the metadata file as well. If I take
this image and save it as an .lsm from the Zen software, it is opened as
a XT array with the correct metadata time interval+timestamp.
I can put the orginal 10Mb image on a FTP site if needed, the image when
saved as lsm, the metadata, or a zen blue snapshot.
I thank you for the support
Best regards
Julien
I included the original czi file+snapshot of Image/Loci? opened image&metadata+metadata.
I did the same with the same file saved in Zen black as a LSM file. It is opened ok, and metadata are OK.
I added a snapshot using Zen black (where the orginal XY image showing the line scanned is also included and the XT view).
Eventually, I added a snapshot of Zen blue opening the file as I would have expected bioformat would have done : a line+ a time slider (I highlighted it in red).
