BUG: Delete of plate failing

Description
When attempting to delete plates created from a dataset by the script, the activity window says delete fails, but plates disappear from data tree. When refresh button pressed, plates reappear in tree again. Repeated attempts to delete all failed.

Not sure if this is the same issue as in #11009, but with the PR there, this seems to be working now.
