Description

Discovered when testing FLIMFit software.
The original metadata file is not there after the file imported into howe using the latest build from dev_4_4 branch, # ice33-b213-mac.
Nevertheless, the very same file, when imported using the 4.4.6 release build of Insight has the original metadata present.
This looks like a regression.
(The FLIMFit software is not capable to load files pre-imported to OMERO due to this bug. )

Petr: pointed out that the original_metadata functionality was thoroughly tested yesterday without issue.
