Description (last modified by wmoore)

Corresponding insight ticket is #10780

Once #10776 is in place, a chgrp performed on a subset of the images in a MIF will result in the chgrp operation failing. The typical example for this is a SVS file with 3 images only one of which is in a given dataset. Chgrping that dataset will then fail since not all of the images are being moved. Options available to the user are:

  • Move all of the images to the same dataset and chgrp

In discussion with Josh:

After handling chgrp with:

prx = omero.cmd.HandlePrx.checkedCast(conn.c.ic.stringToProxy(cbString))
rsp = prx.getResponse()
  • Possibly you would get just a {"constraints" : {"fileset": [5]} and then could load the other stuff.
  • If a fileset is in 2 datasets and you try to move both datasets, that would work (if you tried to move them separately, that would fail).
