Description

See 'getReader()' in loci.formats.services.JAIIIOServiceImpl. That method registers a specific JPEG-2000 reader with the ImageIO factories every time a JPEG-2000 stream is decompressed - potentially thousands of times if an SVS or similar file is being read. Ideally the registration would happen once per JAIIOServiceImpl instance.
