Missing thumbnails on reset, settings change, etc.

Description

This is evident by the [X] thumbnail replacements in the Insight user interface under some rendering settings change circumstances. On the server, various unloaded object exceptions are thrown mainly due to the save/update dynamics of Hibernate and the unloads that happen on certain parts of the object graph when they are passed to IUpdate.
