BUG: Thumbnail size reset not working after zoom

Description
If you use the increment/decrement buttons at the bottom of the centre pane to change the size of the thumbnails the reset button appears to work fine to return them to their default size. However if you use the slider, then the reset to default button does not work.
However if you then click on the increment or decrement button then it goes to 1+ or 1- the default size - i.e. the return to default event is being triggered and then the increment/decrement is taking place. So it looks like the event is being held up somehow.
