Description

During the verification that changes in https://github.com/openmicroscopy/ome-documentation/pull/431 make sense (and testing them on a fresh OS X 10.8 system), it has been discovered that there are many possible setups regarding Python:

  • use the one OS X provides and install only pip and virtualenv (installing Ice 3.4 fails when virtualenv is enabled),
  • use homebrew Python.

We need to decide on one solution and document it for OS X systems (Windows, Linux don't have this problem).
