Description
users/client-tutorials/insight/collaboration.txt has some good information for users about how they may move data between groups and change group permissions. I wonder if it would be worth somehow adding mention of the fact that data (added annotations, etc.) may thus be irreversibly lost, as they may not have thought to expect that. Admittedly, this is complicated by the fact that the rules that govern what is lost when aren't trivial (there are even cases that don't require the data to be moving into a more restrictive group or the annotations to be owned by other users, as I just managed to lose an image's tag through moving my own data I tagged with my own tag out of private-1) so the warning may have to be somewhat vague, but perhaps we can at least warn that losing annotations owned by others is an especial risk when moving into a private group.

Adding this to a revised chapter on data sharing. Should be included in next major update of help web site.

Does it warn about moving data between groups into a more restrictive group? I see warnings only about changing permission levels on groups, but I may be missing it.
Also, can you really lose annotations when changing a group from Private to a higher level of access? I would have thought the problems would be more the other way around.

My apologies Mark, you are quite correct, there is not a warning in the 'moving data between groups' section.

And this,
This is particularly pertinent to changing a group from Private to a higher level of access.
really is the correct way around?
Placing in 4.4.10 for review
