Failing Python tests

Description
This is an umbrella ticket for a handful of OmeroPy tests that are consistently failing both locally and on Hudson and for which no quick fix of the test has been identified. All of these tests will be marked as expected to fail (xfail) using this ticket number as the reason and then that commit listed here.
It might be that these tests represent real bugs or testing weaknesses. If necessary separate bug tickets should be created and referenced here.
There are some further tests that fail on Hudson but not locally, those will be addressed outside this ticket.
