Bug: Insight sometimes shows wrong data-hierarchy

Reported by: drussell-x Owned by: jburel
Priority: major Milestone: OMERO-4.4.x
Component: Insight Version: 4.4.8

Description

I haven't been able to find a common condition for when this happens.

Basically when viewing other people's data the project/dataset/image tree is sometimes displayed incorrectly. The two incorrect displays I have seen are:

  • Nothing, when there are definitely projects, datasets and images.
  • The hierarchy of the person viewing the data instead

Shown in the 2 screenshots. One of them also shows what the user really has by way of the Web Interface. The only way to fix this situation was to restart Insight.

Seen on develop and 4.4.8p1.
