Description (last modified by pwalczysko)
Reported during the Phase I of upgrade testing by @bpindelski (lines 5, 6 of the gdoc https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoKiTAl8UOxndGt5bm5mOWl4M1lMc1NkQzVVRW5CZGc&usp=drive_web#gid=13)
This was performed on omero4-demo server with develop database which was upgraded from dev_4_4 database (originally from Howe). The images were all the original dev_4_4 upgraded images, no new FS imports were in the DB at that point. bpindelski was viewing big images.
A)
Brightness settings not saved after modification (although prompt appears).
B)
Brightness modification affects only part of the image. See screenshot. Seems to happen only with images that have tiles.

Cannot repeat on other 8kx8k images under the user-2 on omero4-demo.

I have managed to repeat the bug now on 8kx8k.pds, and 8kx8k.jpf, image (see screenshot above and below). The trick is to use the Brightness bar under Advanced tab, not the Min and Max as I was doing previously. When you drive the Brightness bar high mark to the left, the tiles on the top of the image do not go with the rest of the image.

Nevertheless, this bug is present on Howe as well - nothing to do with the db upgrade.

Did not manage to repeat exactly this problem, but when changing the renedering settings and zooming in and out, (it was not crazy-clicking though) go t to a point where the full viewer never recovered. I was trying with 8k x 8k.png, will try with the other, similar looking images. (cannot read the title on the screenshot properly)
