Another qa report for this problem: https://www.openmicroscopy.org/qa2/qa/feedback/9244/
Does anyone know how to reproduce this? Really mysterious, NPE at this point means that the user combobox doesn't have any items, i. e. the group has no associated members, but the user has to be a member in order to be able to open the import dialog in the first instance.

I think this was due to the group not correctly set. It could be set to -1.
Fixed in.

Noticed it few times before the change in imageJ. It requires debugmode = true.
Keeping it opened for now.

Fix what I think was the source of the issue while working on imageJ workflows. Closing.
Moving all remaining blockers to 5.0.2 for re-evaluation.
