Description
On OMERO4, 4.4.9 Insight.
When importing a plate, no archiving is possible on OMERO4. Nevertheless, in Importer, the box "Archived" can be ticked, and thus the user might get the impression that his plates were archived, although they in fact were not.
Either disable the "Archived" box tick for plates, or, when not possible, warn user clearly that his data were NOT archived in the UI after or during import.
Might lead to loss of data.

I think we need to add a simple warning: "your data has not been archived" - I guess just for plates, as there seems to be the problem - can we detect that the Archive option was ticked and then detect the import of plate (after scanning) and warn the user post-import ?

We can only identify that we import a plate after scanning.
Modifying the layout will require too much effort in the 4.4.x
