bug: big image panning button release failure in web

Description
With Firefox 17.0.10 under Linux accessing the web client on howe,
- open a big image in the full viewer
- open the Rendering Details
- drag with the mouse, starting from the image and ending on the rendering details
- wiggle mouse pointer around over image
- observe that image still pans although mouse button is released.
