Description
From https://github.com/openmicroscopy/openmicroscopy/pull/1933
When you choose "Save as -> PNG" from the thumbnail or plate view, you get to choose a local folder to save in, but you're not told what the name of the file is going to be, and you can't choose a name. Certainly you wouldn't expect it to be Batch_Image_Export.zip!
The zip is not downloaded if a file called "Batch_Image_Export.zip" already exists in the folder you choose.
Possible solutions:
- You could simply start the script running (and pop-up the Activities dialog) when the user hits "Save As -> PNG". They they can wait for the script to finish and choose where to download it, knowing the name will be 'Batch_Image_Export.zip' (also the naming clash is handled on this download).
- Alternatively the user could choose a name in the initial download dialog - then this name could be passed to the script so that a correctly-named zip is generated and downloaded. Would still need to check that existing file doesn't exist.
