RFE: ImageJ plugin interface does not expose reader-specific export options

The this issue is specifically related to not being able to set the codec when writing QuickTime? files with QTWriter. However more generally it would be desirable for the writers to be able to provide tweakable options to the UI in a general way. For example, compression levels, and other format-specific features.

Not sure that the ticket referenced above is actually relevant (this shouldn't be N-dim related). The relevant thread seems to be https://www.openmicroscopy.org/community/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7406&p=13395.
My guess is that this is not actually a problem we need to solve - without Apple's QuickTime? for Java installed, you will only ever be able to export uncompressed QuickTime? movies. With QuickTime? for Java correctly installed, all of the available codecs should be shown (just as is seen when exporting e.g. OME-TIFF). It would be useful if someone could double-check in case my memory of this is wrong, but otherwise I'd be in favor of closing as worksforme/wontfix.
