Description
Node/Element? are a bit problematic here, with the wrappers potentially not supporting casting properly. Double-check what needs doing for the wrapper to work completely transparently here.

https://github.com/rleigh-dundee/bioformats/commit/f8cd1b0aa3f707263142209ba022ded581d19c43 contains changes to address some of these problems. This corrects the node/element construction and assignment issues, but it's not a perfect fix.
