Comment: I am importing images that are archived on tape. While the files are being recalled the whole insight UI freezes up. Also, a lot of the files are then classed as invalid or 'file not found'. I can send some screenshots.

Tested with Alexia's files (most of them are on tape). I did not notice any issue like the one reported on the ticket i.e. file not valid
I imported from Windows and Mac w/o any problems.

I definitely touched files 090828_HeLa_siCTL_coilin_ATUB01_01_R3D_D3D.dv to …ATUB_04 (only the D3D files), and I think it was 02 and 04 that failed (can't really remember).
I also tried another set of four images, probably 090828_HeLa_siDYRK1A_coilin_ATUB02_01_R3D_D3D.dv to …ATUB02_04
