As indicated in https://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/support/omero5.1/users/cli/overview.html, the reference documentation for this topic should be given by the following command:
bin/omero help debug
Deferring the following calls to Helen and Colin. Should this command be more prominent in the Sphinx CLI documentation? Is the help output sufficient or can it be improved?

Does debug=1 do something particularly useful? Or something that requires more info/context than the CLI help output provides? In general, I'm not sure there is much value in reproducing swatches of the help output in the sphinx docs
