Description

I used CLI import with --auto_close on a directory with many small files. After the first 2,000 or so, importFileset OOM'd, I think on the client side.

  • Milestone changed from 5.x to OMERO-5.2.1
  • Priority changed from minor to critical

I tend to consider any path to OOM the server to be critical even if we just throw an OverUsageException to the user.

I have been able to reproduce issues with importing 4K fakes, but haven't yet pinpointed the error.
