Description
on the 5.3 branch, have a server OMERO.server-5.3.0-m0-206-de90591-ice35-b30 and corresponding insight OMERO.insight-5.3.0-m0-206-de90591-ice35-b30-mac.
import test_images_regions/multi_z_t_images/2chZT.lsm
Draw 6 ROIs on it, putting them into 3 folders (some ROIs are propagated, some not). Have one higher folder containing 2 of the abovementioned ROI folders. (done via CLI)
- in Insight,export this image in Insight as ome.tiff -> works fine, and after reimport the ROIs are present as expected (although without the folders)
- add two tags to the image, tag1 and tag2 (in Insight)
- add Map Annotation to the image, two lines of random gibberish (in Insight)
after the Tag and Map Annotation addition, try to export the image as ome.tiff again -> observe that the operation is not going on, the machine (server ran locally) is getting overheated. If Insight is quit, then the fan on the machine goes on, suggesting a server problem (the fan goes silent after bin/omero admin restart)

Note that in the above repetition on the mainline, I could not repeat the sorting of the ROIs into folders, as the ROI folders do not feature on the mainline yet.
Cannot repeat this with the same image on the mainline. Although the operation takes long, it seems to conclude successfully (connected to eel, not localhost)
