trying to import OME-TIFF generated in SimplePCI
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid C index: 5/5 at loci.formats.FormatTools.getIndex(FormatTools.java:192) at loci.formats.in.OMETiffReader.initFile(OMETiffReader.java:247) at loci.formats.FormatReader.setId(FormatReader.java:327) at loci.formats.ImageReader.setId(ImageReader.java:581) at loci.formats.ReaderWrapper.setId(ReaderWrapper.java:76)

This was an ome.tiff generated in SimplePCI. Not sure how compatible but will talk to Martin and see if we can get the image.

Hi Brain,
"That particular error, I realized after i sent it, was because i was uploading a file that was corrupt already. This seems to be an issue with export from a micromanager 5D file to ome.tiff using LOCI in imageJ. We can work around this error by opening the micromanager files with loci and then exporting as ome.tiff. Files exported this way are always fine. Thanks for the response."

Update: Andrew has made contact with Hamamatsu, who recently bought Simple-PCI and has reported the problem to them.
