During the import of a flex plate, I double-clicked on the plate in insight (generating thumbnails, etc.)

I assume this led to the stacktrace in feedback 195

Without an overhaul of the population, thumbnailing and rendering settings logic this is unfix-able. Pushing.

Solved by changes in milestone:Beta-4.1.1 by Jean-Marie and Chris to avoid re-updating objects in the graph during import.
