Description

Smart listeners filter based on event and source type which could be useful for performance.

It would take a high rate of events, or an awful lot of listeners, for us to be looking at improving performance here, but maybe it's plausible that there are so many?

Don't think it's overly plausible. I think I added this card when I saw that Spring had added the new interface. I'll go ahead and close and we can revisit if anything looks bothersome in the future.
