File-name prefs not saved

In the dialog where I choose to "Override default naming" and choose "0" files in the path, these are not remembered when the app is closed.
Even IF these are not saved (or user is using the app for the first time) the "Override the default name" should be checked already (as we discussed for 4.1).

Brian, I'm re-opening this in order to #2623. We'll probably need to discuss the solution, and the re-test Will's original issue.
