By creating a VM of an OMERO server we can:
make installing easier for new users
supply test data
allow a nice way for creating multiple server instances for load balancing.
avoid issues of different configurations, systems that seem to plague us.
We can also modify the hudson build system so that it creates a VM, this could be done for instance on a successful build, or on a build marked as QA.
