Importer Improvements:

correct list of files supported, linked from http://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/support/omero4/clients/importer, available on http://trac.openmicroscopy.org.uk/omero/wiki/ImporterFormats

guides for importing multi-D files-- for MM, click on .nd; for Flex, click on .mea or .res, etc. Bottom line, the assumptions we make should be known by users. All of this info should be on om.org

every installation I've ever used has Importer History inactive. Are there good directions on how to get this working? If not, why not?

Do all test files we provide import? If not, they should be fixed (preferably) or labelled as such.

Web improvements

Loading of thumbs and images seems very slow. This is most clearly seen with plates of even 96 wells, but also some time pass by when viewing even single image and opening Preview of image.. Can this be snappier?

History issues tied to two tickets (one server, one client) listed at #2906 and #2940
ImporterFormats page updated with new layout. Hopefully more readable now. #2942

This was an artifact of using KIT server. Problem reported to Urban and Bjorn.

3 Nov 2010: Workflow on Shares is improving greatly. Demoing on nightshade. under acct jason. Additional items to consider:

-- an empty share has a balloon icon. Why?

-- enable 'delete' of my own shares

-- when i click on a share can the first view I see in the 3rd pane be the annotations?

-- In longer term, allow user to define name of share.

Maybe include better statement of what the list on that page refers to? What version of support does that represent?
