Description

Some performance metrics should be taken comparing block based (various block sizes) and planar based imports to get a feeling for performance degradation or improvement and potential configuration options.

A new test was added and the existing target runner infrastructure that
is used for the OMERO open bytes tests has been made more generic to
allow the running of this test as well. Also added an Ant target to run
the test.

The perf4j library (http://perf4j.codehaus.org/) will allow us to
generically performance test critical pieces of code in the test
suite using simple timers and log4j integration.
