Description

Moved from http://www.ome-xml.org/ticket/76

I recommend you specify the file type explicitly in the metadata. This and other file description suggestions are made keeping in mind that the actual file will not always accompany your metadata. For example, aggregating services often make metadata searchable, but not the entire file (think of searching on PubMed?). I realize this information is implicit in the file, but it is sometimes necessary to include this information in an independent record that describes the file.

Explicitly state what file type the file is somewhere in the header.
