BUG: Create Admin

I tried the two situations that you tested below, from Insight:

• create a new group and create a user at the same time. Select "Administrator" box. A group and a user (admin) created.
• Select an existing group, create a user. Select "Administrator" box.

The user (as admin) is created.

In both cases I can create the new groups and users, when logged on as root, but if I try and login using a newly created administrator the login fails.

When I create a login id, non-administrator, I am able to login using Insight with this name. One thing I have noticed is that the root and normal login have a colored icon in the administrator tab in Insight but that the login names which fail to work are gray.

Understood, the problem is that the 2 users are not Active, which explains why you cannot log in.
I am going to fix the problem, in the meantime, you can do the following:

• log in as root
• select the user
• go to the right hand side and select the active box and hit save

You should now be able to log in using the newly created admin
