Review of completed tickets #4008 #4009 from 3rd round of feedback #3983.

• #4009 Header of dialog in import panels

The comments on the change in the layout was positive. The one comment made was that the line

• selects the files or directories to import
  

be moved lower down closer to the panel of selection. It may need to be discussed if

• #4008 Option to select another dataset

This confirmation of this helped the workflow and was seen to be used several times through the session.
The questions that emerged from this:

• The ability to select and choose from all datasets on start up.
• Having the import button greyed out until a project is selected.
• The clarification of when importing a folder and selecting the import folder name, having the folder name shown in the

drop down box of: images imported in dataset of the name of the chosen folder. This would help to clarify the import path and expectation of
where the import will be.

UPDATE: Feedback saturation reached with user so the feature of import within the client can now move to be more widely tested.

The feedback process is being documented in order to prevent the open status of tickets in the future. ticket#4268

Note: Could you detail a bit that one.

• Having the import button greyed out until a project is selected.

Note: this will require more feedback, if the user only select folder to import and do not use project. it does not make sense. Need to offer enough flexibility

• The clarification of when importing a folder and selecting the import folder name, having the folder name shown in the drop down box of: images imported in dataset of the name of the chosen folder. This would help to clarify the import path and expectation of where the import will be.

Note: The name of the folder is displayed in the list in "blue" Not sure of the idea of adding them to the drop down list
b/c won't be visible and might lead to more confusion. Can potentially become messy in the import sequence. e.g Select folder A as dataset, then user select A as dataset to import image1. if folder not imported before image1, this can be a problem. Require more usability before changing implementation
