Description

Certain features of Slim Plotter require the ability to export to SDT format. Additionally, in the future, we will want to provide the ability to convert our new OME-HDF format to the legacy SDT format for use in SPCImage. As such, we will eventually need an SDT writer implementation within Bio-Formats.

This is becoming less important as our group now has alternatives to SPCImage including Tri2 and SLIM Plugin. If we decide to pursue an SDT writer implementation we will track the progress in the LOCI Trac as part of SLIM development, rather than here.
