Sorry, I didn't know you are talking about feedback comment, not comment on OMERO image. Right, we can fix it by opening it on the new window. Return to the previous page is not possible at this moment.

...answer: nightshade as well, on chrome and safari: after send comment, user goes to:

http://nightshade.openmicroscopy.org.uk/feedback/thanks/

clicking webclient, gives .web start screen and does not return to page user was on. Given that it takes many steps to get to image, this is difficult.

Alternatively, could you clean recent history on you web browser, or use different one instead?

This problem never exists. It is first time. Could you give more details how do you get to the image and what you exactly click, please. I can't reproduce it.

This is true on 4.2.2 on nightshade and on test instances I'm playing with. Should this be already fixed? What build?

Discussed with Ola: We'll go for a new window when the user chooses to send feedback.

We should probably wait till the various layout changes have been finalised in web. The idea we were considering of going to "Help" page and launching a feedback dialog from there probably doesn't make sense if you don't want to loose your location. Need to be able to launch a feedback dialog (window) directly from any page and keep it open while you reproduce the scenario etc (as in Insight). Give the user a big "Close" button on submit/thanks.
