The document needs to record the information from the OMERO qa system so that it may be used in future testing cycles. Create google doc and a suitable format and share.
Document created on google docs and shared with JM. The document still requires a review before it is shared with the whole team and some suitable existing information from QA needs to be populated in the tables.
Update: The changes have been made for creating a simplified 'yellow pages' version of user testing document within GRE. Some example data has been added.
Updated: The document is correct as of 31st of March and contains 12 external contacts. A draft email will be composed ready to be sent out.
A selected few from this list will be used to ask for external testing. The previsional date set when the external testing will begin shall be towards the end of May providing that all goes as expected with the internal testing. The purpose of the external is purely to gain a broader test base where possible. The schedule gives the chosen external testers 3 weeks warning:
9th of May Email to be sent out - The email is now to be sent to ensure we are closer to the code freeze and internal testing. DONE
- Waiting for any response.
16th May Internal testing in Dundee starts - Allowing for a week for any major issues to arise from the internal testing.
24th May - The initial proposed date for external testing to begin.

No more QA shall take place for 4.2.2 onwards which is what this document had started on. Tthe document is scheduled for to be updated in #6029 for the ongoing 4.3.1 QA information.
